Active Mountain Yoga offers yoga classes with Jennifer McCombs, certified 200-hour yoga teacher.
Jennifer started practicing yoga while attending college in 2004 and has continued growing her personal practice to support health and wellness every day with yoga. While studying and working through college, Jennifer dove deeper into yoga to connect to her body, mind and breath to work through difficult challenges, including a tragic loss when her brother was killed in a car accident and her grandmother's battle with cancer.
Jennifer lives in Girdwood, Alaska, a small mountain town that offers many outdoor adventures. Jennifer teaches a yoga practice that is centered on life in the mountains including breathwork, stretches, strength, balance, recovery, focus and meditation for people with an active lifestyle, especially skiers, runners and hikers.
Jennifer enjoys skiing, running, hiking, biking and exercising outdoors with her husband, two sons, dogs, and friends. Jennifer believes that everyone can be active outside at any stage in life and yoga helps get you there.
